It is about food again, but this post has been abandoned for few months due to a major change in my daily life. For my own concern, life always changes and LIFE GOES ON, so do my scribbles over here.
20140829_KO. B. Q._GROUPON
Groupon again! This offer seems nice as I like to introduce different style of cuisines to my family and hoping for surprises will be awarded to my taste buds.
20140829_KO. B. Q._CUTLERY
As usual, simple arrangement of cutlery consists of chopsticks and spoon for Korean cuisines.

20140829_KO. B. Q._SIDE DISH_BEAN SPROUT & BAYAM
20140829_KO. B. Q._SIDE DISH_POTATO
Well, complimentary side dishes were offered in small portion. Enjoyed the spicy squid as never tasted it along with Korean meals before this. Crunchiness of the potato did wake up some of my taste buds as well.
20140829_KO. B. Q._MENU_KIMCHI JEONGOL
20140829_KO. B. Q._KIMCHI JEONGOL
Huhu…. Kimchi Jeongol was nice & simply stomach-warming, nice to eat along with rice with its mild spiciness.
20140829_KO. B. Q._MENU_THIN PORK BELLY
20140829_KO. B. Q._THIN PORK BELLY
This dish was not served with an impressive presentation, somehow it tasted surprisingly good with well-cooked of these thin pork belly slices. Served hot (seriously).
20140829_KO. B. Q._MENU_CHICKEN BULGOGI
20140829_KO. B. Q._CHICKEN BULGOGI
This dish also nice as it did slow down spiciness (of Kimchi Jeongol) & hotness (of Thin Pork Belly) of the other two dishes. My mum who seldom praised on tastiness of a Korean dish also enjoyed this dish.
20140829_KO. B. Q._MENU_KOREAN GREEN TEA
Nothing much to say about drinks over here as I am not a fan of alcoholic beverages. Always fantasize about having Korean meals with soju as influenced by Korean series, hehe……
Embarrassed to mention that there was a communication misunderstood while making reservation for this meal using Groupon, but the Korean lady was really kind enough to let me use my coupon, or else it would be kind of pathetic for the night, kamshahamida!!!!

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 720 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 12 trips to carry that many people.
This is a song that currently caught my attention though it is not a so-called ‘big’ or powerful song. Chorus part of the song, together with the lyrics is the first point of getting my attention. My curiosity in knowing more about this song grew stronger, thus pushing me to listen to this whole song.
After viewing the MV from Youtube (as posted at the above link), I found out that it is a GREAT & MARVELLOUS song. Simple lyrics are expected to be understood easily, but we shall learn to look at these lyrics in a deeper manner. Try not to look at things too superficially, this is my reply to those comments that keep criticized on consequences for NOT MAKE-UP in a woman’s / girl’s daily life. I presume the phrase of make up not simply implying on the physical make up, it does mean hypocrisy by wearing a mask in someone’s daily life as well.
Following time line of the MV, after looking at it from 1:31 until 1:55, there is a real touching message that was trying to reach the audience. From my point of view, the woman with the wig was trying to appear as what people think a normal woman would be. At the very moment when she pulled off her wig (1:31) and finally smiling gracefully (1:55), the courage that she had was undoubtedly powerful and amazed me at the same time.
I have bold up certain phrases of the lyrics, which I think that they are the core message that I am aware of from this song.
Lyrics: Try by Colbie Caillat
Put your make up on
Get your nails done
Curl your hair
Run the extra mile
Keep it slim so they like you, do they like you?
Get your sexy on
Don’t be shy, girl
Take it off This is what you want, to belong, so they like you Do you like you?
You don’t have to try so hard You don’t have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up You don’t have to change a single thing
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try
Yooou don’t have to try
Oooh
Oooh
Get your shopping on, at the mall, max your credit cards
You don’t have to choose, buy it all, so they like you
Do they like you?
Wait a second,
Why should you care, what they think of you When you’re all alone, by yourself, do you like you?
Do you like you?
You don’t have to try so hard
You don’t have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don’t have to change a single thing
You don’t have to try so hard
You don’t have to bend until you break
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don’t have to change a single thing
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try
Yooou don’t have to try
Noooo
Oooh
You don’t have to try so hard
You don’t have to give it all away
You just have to get up, get up, get up, get up
You don’t have to change a single thing
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try, try, try, try
You don’t have to try
You don’t have to try
Take your make up off Let your hair down Take a breath Look into the mirror, at yourself Don’t you like you? Cause I like you
